We built pearland.pro to help legitimate local and service-area businesses connect with customers. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and how we protect the platform and the people who use it.

Our basic approach

We collect the information reasonably needed to operate pearland.pro, verify businesses, provide business pages and customer tools, respond to requests, prevent abuse, and maintain the security and integrity of the service. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

1. Information we may collect

Depending on how you use pearland.pro, we may collect:

  • Business information such as business name, category, service area, address, website, phone number, email address, services, photos, logos, offers and other profile content.
  • Account and contact information such as your name, email address, phone number, login or verification information, and account activity.
  • Customer inquiry information submitted through lead forms, booking requests, contact forms, marketing-review forms or similar tools.
  • Technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, referring pages, security events and logs used to operate and protect the service.
  • Communications with pearland.pro, including support requests, abuse reports and consent records.

2. How we use information

We may use information to:

  • Create, operate, review and maintain business accounts and business pages.
  • Verify that a business is legitimately located in or serves the Pearland area.
  • Provide lead, booking, customer-request, promotion, marketing and follow-up tools.
  • Respond to support, Google Business Profile assistance, marketing-review requests and other business-help requests.
  • Send transactional, account, security and customer-care communications.
  • Detect spam, impersonation, fraud, abuse, automated activity, ban evasion and other misuse.
  • Enforce our Terms of Use and protect legitimate businesses, customers and the pearland.pro platform.
  • Maintain backups, logs, auditing and service reliability.

3. Business information that may be public

Information a business chooses to publish—such as its business name, category, service area, business phone, website, services, photos, offers and promotions—may be visible to the public. Private account credentials, internal notes and unpublished drafts are not intended to be public.

4. Leads, bookings and customer requests

When a visitor submits information to a participating business through pearland.pro, that information may be provided to the applicable business so it can respond to the request. Businesses are responsible for using customer information lawfully and only for legitimate business purposes related to the request or relationship.

5. Email, phone and text communications

If you give us permission to contact you, we may contact you by the method you select. SMS consent is optional unless specifically required for a particular service. Message frequency may vary and message/data rates may apply.

For customer-care text messages, you may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of using the free pearland.pro platform.

We do not sell or rent SMS consent information or mobile numbers to third parties for their own marketing.

6. Service providers and connected services

We may use service providers and connected systems to host the site, deliver email or text messages, protect accounts, process forms, maintain backups, analyze operations, or provide optional services. Those providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their role.

Optional paid services, including business phone, SMS or AI answering, may be provided through SurfLocal.biz or other clearly identified connected services and may have additional terms or privacy practices.

7. Fraud, abuse and platform protection

We may collect and retain reasonable security information when necessary to investigate abuse, enforce restrictions, prevent repeat fraudulent registrations, protect legitimate users, or comply with legal obligations. This may include account identifiers, contact information, IP/security logs, moderation history, and records showing why an account was restricted.

Deletion of a business account does not necessarily require us to erase limited security, fraud-prevention, backup or legal-compliance records where retaining them is reasonably necessary and permitted by law.

8. Cookies and technical data

pearland.pro may use cookies, sessions, local storage or similar technologies that are reasonably necessary for login, security, preferences, forms, analytics, fraud prevention and service operation.

9. Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including account operation, backups, dispute resolution, security, fraud prevention and legal compliance. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices

You may contact us to request correction or deletion of information associated with your account, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention and backup limitations. Business owners can also update much of their published business information through their account tools.

11. Children

pearland.pro is intended for business owners, business representatives and general community users. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform changes. The effective date shown above identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the site or account tools when appropriate.
